There are many things I would like to tell you, and, in my opinion, words will always fall short to express the intensity and the particularity of what I feel. I would like to thank each and every one of you without having to repeat a “thank you”, but with a hand when you need it, with deeds and not with letters, however, at that moment, perhaps, the only action I have left is to continue resisting as, until now, I have done together with my blood brother, and together with the subversive brothers and sisters, here in Rancagua, Santiago, or any prison in the world.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not long for a bit of the freedom “of the street”, which, although often illusory and turned into an open-air prison, material at times, and immaterial many others, is undoubtedly preferable to being in this barren courtyard. There is not a day when I do not look at the poplars that move with the wind, high and far from the barbed wire, the concrete and the gazes of the gendarmes, and I wish I was caressing the greenery of a tree, the warmth of a complicit embrace, or the intensity of the meeting of my eyes and those of someone I have not seen for a long time. But I also know that all this is part of what I have decided, that, although it hurts me, and I do not wish prison for anyone, it has never been a novelty this destiny, it has never been a novelty to resist it and try to erode its structures (physical and mental) as much as we can, to break its rigidity and confinement. And, although there are things in which I know I have failed, or which could have been better in terms of my experience there, I am sure there is nothing I can’t learn from it for my present, constant self-criticism has always been, for me, not a necessity, but a life decision which, although sometimes painful, brings with it the only thing I venture to believe is a “universal law”: constant change.

For the rest of this life (and perhaps others), I will be grateful to friends, kindred spirits, siblings and loves, and even if I am flooded with rage, grief and helplessness, I know that sooner or later, one way or another, I will see them again.

Italy: The censorship of correspondence for anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito was renewed EN/IT

We inform that in January the censorship of correspondence (incoming and outgoing) to anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito, currently imprisoned for a 20-year sentence in the ‘Scripta Manent’ trial, was renewed. We remind that censorship was also previously ordered between September and December 2021. Alfredo was recently subject of an arrest order in the context of the ‘Sibilla’ operation of November 11, as he is accused of incitement to commit crimes with the aggravating circumstance of the purpose of terrorism, in relation to the publication of the anarchist paper ‘Vetriolo’. The arrest order was subsequently annulled by the court of re-examination of Perugia on December 16, while the case against all the investigated comrades remains open.

Informiamo che nel mese di gennaio è stata rinnovata la censura sulla corrispondenza al compagno anarchico Alfredo Cospito, attualmente imprigionato per la condanna a 20 anni nel processo “Scripta Manent”. Ricordiamo che la censura era stata precedentemente disposta anche tra settembre e dicembre 2021. Alfredo è stato recentemente destinatario di un mandato d’arresto nel contesto dell’operazione “Sibilla” dell’11 novembre, in quanto accusato di istigazione a delinquere con l’aggravante della finalità di terrorismo, in relazione alla pubblicazione del giornale anarchico “Vetriolo”. L’ordinanza d’arresto è stata successivamente annullata dal tribunale del riesame di Perugia il 16 dicembre, mentre resta aperta l’inchiesta contro tutti i compagni indagati.

Wuppertal, Germany: Sodexo transporter immobilized

“It is companies like Spie, WISAG, Massak, Sodexo […] that keep state rule alive through their pandering.”

In the darkness of 03.01. we slashed the tires of a Sodexo company car in Espenstraße in Wuppertal and dumped an oily liquid into the air vents.

Sodexo is one of the profiteers of the prison industry.

Since the privatization of the British justice system, the French company has been running five prisons in Great Britain with over 5000 inmates under its own responsibility. In other countries, such as France and Chile, services are provided by Sodexo in sections of various prisons. Sodexo supplies prisons with completely overpriced food and keeps the supply as low as possible, so that prisoners have no choice but to spend their little money for the profit of this company.

Already at the beginning of 2015, a letter of confession after an action against Sodexo in Berlin stated:

Paris, France : Solidarity with Francisco!

Prison hovers permanently like a dark cloud over the lives of those who do not want to resign themselves to this world of authority and exploitation. It crushes the lives of so many people whom the State considers useless or dangerous.

We carry in our hearts the names, words and deeds of our imprisoned comrades around the world.

Among them is Franscisco Solar, a Chilean anarchist who recently took responsibility with strength and dignity for the explosive devices that shattered the illusion of security so dear to the cops, the politicians and the rich. So that fear finally changes sides.

Despite the distance and the walls, we wanted to send him a message of solidarity.

Bremen, Germany: The enemies of freedom are ours! Offices of the arms company OHB System AG in flames

OHB System AG is considered a respected space and high technology company. Since the 1950s, OHB has mainly been building satellite-based systems used for military interests. Due to direct orders from the German Armed Forces, OHB can no longer even attempt the fig leaf of dual-use, i.e. using its satellites for both civilian and military purposes. Belarus: 18 to 20 years’ imprisonment for Belarusian anarcho-partisans

The sentence was announced today for a group of anarcho-partisans who held a series of direct actions against the dictatorship about a year ago. In an attempt to isolate the activists, the trial was held in camera and only the pronouncement of the sentence was made public.

Sentences:

Siarhei Ramanau – 20 years
Ihar Alinevich – 20 years
Dzmitry Rezanovich – 19
Dzmitry Dubousky – 18 years

Enormous sentences for symbolic actions are an example of the dictatorship’s fear of anarchists. So far, these sentences are the longest in the history of political repression in the country.

On the situation of our comrade Mónica Caballero Sepulveda, after her brawl in jail with a miserable woman

Last Tuesday, December 28th, our anarchist companion Mónica Caballero Sepúlveda had a verbal and physical altercation with the inmate Denisse Llanos, who was returning from a punishment following another fight she had provoked that same day, in the morning. Monica expressed her refusal to share her cell with this inmate, because of their multiple differences in relation to the behavior of the latter.

It is necessary to say that the decision of the Penitentiary Administration to install Llanos, on her return from the punishment, precisely in the cell of the companion is an obvious provocation, in a context of internal tensions, as the overpopulation and the typical pressure of the prison, and external, as the explosive devices against structures of the Penitentiary Administration were. For this reason, the next day Monica’s relatives went to meet with the OSI staff (in charge of the prison security) and the prison director, Denisse Melgarejo, to whom they expressed all the apprehensions, concerns and uneasiness caused by this serious accident in which our companion was involved. At the same time, we asked for a visiting room, which was authorized, during which we were able to give Monica the support and affection of many people.

We found her strong and dignified. She thanks for all the gestures received.
Moreover, we inform that we will appeal, through the courts, against the punishment, immediately accepted and implemented by the court, which will leave our companion without visit for two weeks. We hold the prison administration responsible for any future harm Monica may receive.
