Santiago, Chile: Gathering outside the Embassy of Italy

After more than 100 days of hunger strike of comrade Alfredo Cospito against the brutal isolation regime of 41 bis in Italian prisons, on February 3, 2023 about fifty people gathered in a rally outside the Italian embassy to make palpable the internationalist solidarity.
From Chilean prisons anarchist and subversive prisoners began on January 31 a hunger strike in solidarity with Alfredo’s strike. In this context, despite the heavy police presence, which included water cannons and gas, they managed to break through the walls guarding the representatives of the Italian government, the same government that is currently plotting Alfredo’s assassination behind bars.
Banners, pamphlets, stickers, scratches and shouts flooded the streets around the Italian embassy, and then headed towards the Chilean-Italian cultural institute a few blocks away.

With these words that carry the ballast of the innocuous, and the impotence of not being able to embrace you with exorbitant roars and hypnotic, nameless, denying flames, which cross continents and borders.
We sit down to write from our cages with a deep sense of pain, rage and fraternal admiration.
The machinery of global domination considers you so dangerous and unyielding that they have made it a priority to slice away the most threatening portion of your existence. Your zest for life, your pride, joy and lucidity. Because they fear. Because you managed to represent an indomitable threat that was never diluted in words.

From the state captivity of Santiago, Chile. We shout with the brutality of a thousand floods!
Down with the regime of torture and annihilation 41 bis!!!! 98 days of hunger strike!!!
We shout from continent to continent: Resist brother, here on the other side of this pestilent world you have warriors attentive to your steps.
We never waited for the conciliatory venia with the enemy for the resolution of our battles and necessities. And we will not do so now.
May the gestures of rampant audacity make the ground vibrate and the streets of the entire globe dominated by the machinery of subjugation burn with fire!

Santiago, Chile: Bus set on fire outside the Ex-pedagógico (UMCE) and armed confrontation against special forces of carabineros for the iconoclastic memory of Kevin Garrido and in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito and the comrades of the Susaron Case. (04/11/2022).

“We speak of a new war, a new partisan war. Without front or uniform, without army or decisive battle. A war in which the focal points are deployed far from the mercantile flows, although they are connected to them. We speak of a totally latent war. That has time. Of a war of position. Which is being waged where we are. In the name of no one. In the name of our own existence, which has no name” (How to do? Tiqqun).

About the action.

During a quiet and bohemian Friday afternoon at the Ex Pedagógico, while the citizen/student mass lives its lethargic and alienated youthful fun, a violent direct action took place. This action is framed within the so-called “Black November”, where it is informally called to commemorate the life and death of comrade Kevin Garrido through the violent, diffuse and multiform attack. The action begins with our exit through the front of the university to proceed to cut off vehicular traffic in the area. We set up a barricade of tires and debris that we lit at the moment of intercepting a public transport bus. Our intention was to cross the bus horizontally to the street in order to cut off all traffic, however the driver of the vehicle blocked its driving, so we proceeded to set it on fire at the place of its interception with accelerating liquids. Without intending to harm the mass of citizens, we were constantly rebuked and repudiated for this action. We did not care and we responded verbally to their desperate insults and we were attentive to any onslaught that could emerge from any individual-citizen-cop with a craving for civil heroism, we shit on those people who, upon seeing armed comrades, dare to insult them, believing themselves -imbecilically- untouchable, voluntarily putting their physical integrity at risk in front of us. After this eventful moment, we entered the campus to wait for the police deployment and to receive it with all our strength: thunderous gunshots and a rain of Molotov cocktails hit the bodies of the squad of henchmen who naively took cover on the corner of Juan Gómez Millas street while the armored cars crossed the street. They clearly did not expect our means of attack to put their miserable lives at risk, which left a couple of policemen on the ground (apparently wounded by the shots) and provoked an almost immediate response: they shot at us with their service weapons and gassed the entire area of the front gate. After this counterattack, we used and unloaded all our material and disappeared fleetingly from the place.

Motivations.

This action -as we mentioned before- is part of the international campaign for a Black November in memory of the savage iconoclast Kevin Garrido, 4 years after his murder in the Santiago 1 prison. It is also a blow to the gears of capital that subject all forms of life to a lethargy of normality/passivity typical of a counterinsurgent period catalyzed by the democratic mechanisms of a social democratic government that has established an atmosphere of post-transition.

We abhor this reality and have no hope of reforming it, whether for democratic or “revolutionary” ends, so we attack it. Besides, hope (even the “hope of revolution”) is just that: hope. We do not hope. We attack… “when hope dies, action begins” (Beyond Hope, Derrick Jensen). Let those who still believe in social and human redemption wait while their social bases are camouflaged according to the dictates of the government of the day. We no longer believe. We do not even believe in the Social Revolution that the prophets of anarchy occupy to embellish their babbling tongues and project a false image on the depressing reality of this world. We deny it. “The idea of “progress” is central to the modern Western paradigm in which the assumption that the whole world is moving towards an ever better future predominates. The idea of the inevitability or possibility of a global libertarian future arises from that belief” (“Desert”, anonymous). We leave theoretical fables for the masturbatory leisure of academics. We are not part of any revolutionary tradition that dictates and imposes our practical work. Our action is Pleasure through destruction. We live our anarchy today and not in a “revolutionary” tomorrow.

Perhaps a burned bus, a few Molotovs and a couple of bullets will not put an end to domination. However, we prefer to contribute decisively to its destruction without any consequences. Our freedom is found in the attack, because it is only when we untie the chains of morality and the servitude of capital and decide to take action, that we conquer that freedom of which the old and dusty philosophy books talk so much. In the early morning of December 22, 2022, after a series of raids conducted by the South Metropolitan High Complexity Prosecutor’s Office, as part of an investigation into an explosive attack on the National Directorate of the Chilean Gendarmerie…

Two comrades were arrested, my brother/comrade and I.

On that 22nd day, the official press published our faces as a trophy, making a spectacle of us. And as usual, condemning in advance all those who decide to rebel against this world of control and punishment.

Those who dictate and control our confinement do not take into account the anarchist solidarity, solidarity that approves of walls and confinement, of bullets and shackles. Solidarity that we could feel from the first moment we arrived at the module where I am. We were received with full and fraternal hands by the comrades charged in the Susaron case.

In these lines I want to thank all those who have been concerned about us: The family, my compañeros, friends, anonimxs and those who share the ideas that overflow my heart and individual thinking. Chile: Words of Tomás and Mawhünko before a new commemoration of Matias Catrileo’s death

Time passes but you endure and resist with your example of unwavering struggle sprouting from the earth like a native forest.

Today I write to you from prison with a bit of nostalgia since I cannot be present as I would like to be. I think that nothing is finished and in a personal way for the memories I have with you when I had no worries … I watched in wonder your punky crest while you took me in your arms you were with your jacket full of studs on your neck that I watched innocently; I can firmly say that with you I spent my best moments as a child. I remember to the surface that January 3, 2008 where as a result of the context everything was overturned in my days, with that burning that feels alone sometimes and that you try not to forget … because I would not see you anymore, however only disappears what we do not know how to look / feel and this is not the case because your flame fuels mine to feel the breeze, the rain and the smell of damp earth that like a blanket covers the roots of the great araucarias.

This is how time passes but you live in our memory and even though the road of the insurrectional struggle against capital and the miserable authoritarians who perpetuate misery may lead us to prison or death, it is still beautiful because those of us who throw ourselves with feeling and courage can say that we have been free and dignified, this is how we advance with nothing to fear.

“You accompany me in every step I take as I walk in the forest that they try to devastate and I say try because they will not be able to do it. You live in every outbreak feeding the storm waiting to lurk like a pangui to defend and attack those who want to occupy the land to exterminate.”

Statement claiming responsibility for the explosive attack against the central offices of the chemical industry Oxiquim S.A., in solidarity with anarchist Alfredo Cospito, from New Anarchist Subversion – Alex Núñez Cell / FAI (Santiago, Chile, November 28, 2022)

(Santiago, Chile) ATTACK WITH EXPLOSIVE DEVICE AGAINST OXIQUIM S.A.

With anarchist attitude, the central offices of Oxiquim S.A. in the municipality of Providencia, Santiago, Chile, were attacked.

The high-powered device did not explode because of a solvable technical problem, so we are aiming for more.

Oxiquim, a giant of the Chilean chemical industry and a direct supplier to the country’s major extractive industries in the forestry, mining, agroindustrial and fishing sub-areas.

Oxiquim, a company headed by Fernando Barros Tocornal, a businessman with a high level of influence in Chilean politics, a direct advocate of dictator Pinochet, former president Sebastián Piñera, and a board member of the animal exploitation company Agrosuper.

Oxiquim, directly responsible for the pollution and ecocide of the waters, territory and inhabitants of Quintero-Puchuncaví, defended by the Chilean Navy during protests against the so-called “sacrifice zones.”

This is a new act of revenge against the perpetrators of Earth devastation and destruction. It’s a new violent action by anarchist hands in permanent conspiracy and revolt. It’s a new attack justified by the existence of domination. It is another insurrectionary action in the no-holds-barred struggle for Total Liberation.

Against technological industrial complex that seeks to exploit and dominate all forms of life, WE ARE SELVAGE FORCE. Against illusions of democracy and against all governments and those responsible for Earth devastation, WE PROPOSE CHAOS AND ANARCHY.

We want that the news of this action reaches eyes and ears of imprisoned anarchist comrades, claiming solidarity as the continuity of the attack against power outside and inside prisons.

With particular complicity we stand with the vegan anarcho-nihilists arrested after the anti-speciesist attack against the animal exploitation company Susaron and with anarchist prisoners Joaquín García, Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar. We also salute the high school students imprisoned for the anarchist uprisings in Santiago high schools and all those who from prison resist and struggle against the state and capital.

We send strength to Boris, Ivan and the anarchist prisoners in France. Strength for Erick King and the anarchist prisoners in the USA. Strength for Toby Shone in England. Strength for Gabriel and the anarchist prisoners in Spain. Strength for Giannis Michailidis and for anarchists imprisoned in Greece, Russia, the Czech Republic and around the world.

Strength for all anarchists who take action.

This attack is part of the international campaign of solidarity with anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito, on hunger strike against Italian state-imposed isolation. Alfredo, this is for you.

Chile: 4 comrades arrested for the incendiary attack on the meat company “Susaron”

On November 3, the BIPE (Brigade of Special Police Investigations) of the PDI arrested 4 comrades accused of the incendiary attack carried out by the ” Grupo de Respuesta Animal” on September 18, 2022 against trucks of the meat company “Susaron” in the commune of Quilicura.

The investigation would have allowed through surveillance cameras to track the car where they were moving, in addition to triangulating the signal of cell phones in the house where they had gathered before and after the incendiary attack.

Two comrades were also charged with possession of ammunition in the homes that were raided and the four were charged with arson.

The three comrades were taken to Santiago 1 prison/company and the comrade to San Miguel Prison.

Santiago, Chile: Responsibility claim for explosive attack against SerCor S.A. subsidiary of AntarChile

On the night of October 19, three years after the revolt, we attacked with dynamite the company SerCor located in the Las Condes district, specifically in building 150 of El Golf Avenue.

SerCor S.A. is a company of the corporate center of the Angelini Group that offers consulting and support to company boards for the administrative development of their capitalist businesses. SerCor is under the control of AntarChile, which is a major investment company, also belonging to the Angelini Group, and which manages assets of more than US$20 billion.

AntarChile owns more than 70% of the shares of Forestal Arauco, a company with 1.6 million hectares of monoculture plantations responsible for the degradation and devastation of soils and which severely impacts the minimum conditions that a community needs to live, such as access to water and arable land. In addition, the MAPA project promoted by Arauco plans to modernize the pulp industry in southern Chile, reinforcing transnational extractivism in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, Canada, the United States, Panama, among other countries.

Antar also owns the fishing companies Corpesca, Igemar and Orizon with a control in assets of more than 80%. It should be remembered that the fishing company Corpesca bribed by paying more than 200 million to former senator Jaime Orpis (UDI) and former congresswoman Marta Isasi (former UDI) to defend the industrial fishing interests in the congress. Longueira was another of those who profited from this scheme, known as the “Fishing Law” or “Longueira Law”, which benefited the large fishing industry to the detriment of the autonomous fisherman. Through different suppliers, this politician received a sum of 730 million pesos between September 2009 and March 2015 from the company Corpesca. This bribe was intended to influence the bill to be favorable to large industrial fishing companies. Chile: Renata-“Jalea” gets out of juvenile prison

After spending about 5 months in preventive detention in the SENAME prisons for minors, in September 2022 Renata, “Jalea” managed to return to the streets after being formalized for the burning of 3 buses in Peñalolen during March 2022.

Under this same cause Maryjorie, “Mayo” is still in preventive detention in the San Miguel prison.

Santiago, Chile: Incendiary Attack on the Medialuna + Grupo Antiespecista Emilia Bau – Nueva Subversión Claim

On September 12, in anticipation of the imminent national holidays, anonymous individuals decided to set fire to the Medialuna1 located at the foot of the Renca hill, causing considerable damage.

The director of the Confederation of Chilean Rodeo, Roberto Concha, said about the attack: “We express our absolute condemnation of the arson attack suffered by our members in the commune of Renca, which caused serious material damage to a place where for six years there have been no Rodeo competitions due to the refusal of the communal authorities (…) This is a place full of Chileanness”.

Soon after, the “Grupo Antispeciesist Emilia Bau – Nueva Subversión”, claimed responsibility for the attack through e-mails to various counter-information pages.

Claim of the incendiary attack

On the night of September 12, days before the beginning of the patriotic festivities, we attacked the galleries and quinchas2 of a medialuna located at the foot of the Renca hill, enclosures that, under “sporting” and “Creole” motives, do nothing more than perpetuate the bad treatment and torture against animal life, as well as the livestock and fishing industry, hunting and vivisection centers.

According to the FEROCHI (Federación Deportiva del Rodeo Chile, founded in 1961 and which, in 1962, by means of an official document from the National Sports Council and the Chilean Olympic Committee, recognizes rodeo as a “sporting discipline”), more than 1,900 rodeos are held each year, demonstrating the systematization of these abusive practices. FEROCHI, the Federation of Horse Breeders, Chilean Huaso Clubs and Gil Letelier, among others, are organizations that are complicit in maintaining these high numbers. Therefore, we must not forget the necessary projection of anti-speciesist actions that seek to put an end to this reality.
